Questions, answered.
What is Biohazard Cleanup?
An absorbent for bodily-fluid spills. Pour it on vomit, urine or blood, work it in, and it turns the liquid into a solid you can sweep into a dustpan. It deodorizes as it absorbs, so the area smells clean once it's swept up.
How many cleanups per bag?
5+ per 8 oz bag, depending on the size and type of spill.
Does it disinfect?
No. It absorbs, solidifies and deodorizes so the spill comes up fast. Use it alongside your facility's normal cleanup protocol.
Is it safe to handle?
It's not classified as hazardous under OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard. Avoid breathing the dust, keep it out of eyes, and wear gloves for any bodily-fluid cleanup. Full details are on the SDS.
Will it leave a slippery film?
No. It sweeps up clean on tile, vinyl, wood, concrete and carpet. If residue remains, add a little more and swirl.
What comes in a case and a pallet?
Each case holds six 8 oz bags and measures 14 × 10 × 8 in (about 4.5 lb). Pallets come in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full sizes: 26, 52, 78 and 104 cases, stacked 13 cases per layer.
How is it different from sawdust-style absorbents?
It's made from perlite, a lightweight volcanic rock, plus activated carbon for odor. There's no wood dust in it, it deodorizes as it absorbs, and it sweeps up without leaving a slick film. Compare the SDS for whatever absorbent you use today.
Can care facilities use it?
Yes. It's made for the spills assisted living, memory care and hospice teams handle every day. Use it alongside your infection-control policy.
How fast does it ship, and where?
Shipping is free to the lower 48 states and DC. Cases ship the same day when you order by 11 am Pacific; later orders ship the next business day. Pallets ship within 48 hours by LTL freight, and we'll call to schedule delivery. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or a U.S. territory? Send a PO request and we'll quote freight.
Can we pay by PO or Net 30?
Yes. Fill out the PO / Net 30 form on this page or call 866-820-8050, and we'll reply within 1 hour during business hours. Have your W-9 and tax-exempt certificate (if applicable) handy.
How should we store it?
Stable under normal conditions. Keep bags closed in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.

Keep a bag on every cart.
